Celina Di Pisa
At 23 I co-founded one of the first venture backed IT internet companies in Italy (Direct.it). With my Australian partner, we grew the company, won awards, were interviewed by the most prestigious magazines, travelled the world and loved learning how to run a business.Art, Design, Writing
After 7 years we sold the company, so I decided to dedicate myself to design & creativity. I co-founded Decoupage Italia, the Italian Guild of decoupage and started to write a series of (14) books on decorative techniques. I conducted a craft TV series, and designed decoupage and scrapbooking papers that were distributed internationally (1 million copies sold). I have collaborated with many Home and Craft magazines with articles & projects. I also co-launched a big Craft market in Italy (with about 100 stalls from allover) held in Pizzighettone, a beautiful castle-town, which is still held once a year.Australia
We moved to Sydney in 2008 and I started to miss all the fashion vibe and abundance that was surrounding me in Italy. I missed beautiful shirts that made me feel a million dollars. So Camixa was born. I designed the first collections of Women's Shirts, and I go to Italy to personally follow the production runs, and search out new fabric and accessories suppliers. I hope you'll also feel "a million dollars" in our shirts!
